Who we are

The Virtual Skipping League is run by Skip-Hop. [Add registered business name, address and contact email.]

What we collect

• School staff: name, school email address, role, and a password (stored securely by our login provider; we never see it).
• Schools: school name, town and postcode.
• Pupils: first name, the first letter of their surname, year group, team, and their skipping scores. We do not collect full surnames, dates of birth, photos or contact details for pupils.

Who can see it

• Pupils' names and individual scores are visible only to staff at their own school and to the league administrator.
• Public league tables show team names, school names, year groups and team scores only.

Where it is stored

Data is stored in a database hosted in London (UK) by our database provider, Supabase.

Why we use it

To run the league: recording scores, calculating team scores and producing league tables. [Confirm lawful basis, e.g. legitimate interests or public task on behalf of schools, and whether the school acts as data controller.]

How long we keep it

[Set a retention period, e.g. pupil data deleted at the end of each academic year unless the school asks to keep it.]

Your rights
